My encounter occurred when I was nine years old while living in Bakersfield. I remember clearly red, green, yellow, blue and an occasional blue lite flashing, pulsating around saucer shaped craft not more than 20 feet directly above me as I was sitting on the t bar of an abandoned clothes line waiting for my friend to finish dinner and come out...The craft veered to my right and in a blink of an eye disappered..came back directly over me again, this time a Bright Light coming from the bottom center of craft beamed on me. I was sitting in opposite direction on t bar of clothesline pole from when I first noticed the fine tuned electical sounding noise that make me look up...When girlfriend came out and saw me looking up at the dark sky she asked what I was looking at, I told her and she said nothing, but lets go play in the garage...never told anyone else about encounter. Years later as I saw tv shows and read internet comments on ufo's, I began to discuss my encounter. Sister then told me she and my friend Gloria had heard what sounded like an engine of some vehicle about to crash, they looked towards liquor store and above it witnessed a ufo same as I described...I have had cataracts so severe two opthamoligists have commented that I could have stared at the sun and not had them so bad..also my regular doctor checked head x-rays and looked surprised to see a sort of rupture or something that made him ask if I ever had a stroke. It made a humming/rushing air sound, was about 400 feet long, and had a large, deep red, circular light in the bottom center. I am detailing all these because what we witnessed was a huge circular ship of some sort with huge lights and an amazing speed. it just passed over head very fast and it did feel as if a the approximate size of this ship was about 2 or 3 times of a football pitch. that experience has stayed with me and now after 44 years still is mystery to me. has anyone else seen a very big ufo who can share some information with me. I have had a neurological test done and my eyes have been checked out and nothing is wrong. I can also see very small swirling orbs when I look at the sky there is tons of them. Just wondering if anyone has any information as to what it could be or if it applies to anything. A lot of this so-called copyrighted material should have been in the public domain long ago, anyway. This power grab and restriction of our internet free speech rights by govt must be stopped; if today it is "piracy" tomorrow it will be UFOs/alien websites, internet political talk sites, and sites that spread any other information they do not want on the internet. Anyone who values a free and open internet, and likes to view sites like this one, should call Congress and demand that they oppose SOPA.
