Yes, we have heard of it too; it is called abduction insomnia, when it occurs because the person is involved with alien abduction. The aliens generally show up between 1AM and 4AM, although the abductions can (rarely) take place during the day, as well. The most common hour for their arrival to pick their people up is 3AM. People wake up at around the hour they are usually picked up by the aliens, due to worry that an abduction may occur that night. People also sometimes wake up just after they are dropped off. The abductions generally last between 1 hr and 4 hrs.

My advice would be to cooperate, and flow with it. They mean you no harm; lifelong abductees are very valuable to the Greys, as they have been handpicked, trained, and in many cases, genetically modified before birth. Once you relax and accept the situation, you will find it easier to sleep.

I started the Channel Islands / Santa Barbera CA “Art Bell Chat Club” many years ago & Dr. Leir was one of our first guests. He looked at a scoop mark on my leg with a black light & said it was what he had seen on Alien abductees etc. A few yrs later I got what I can only describe as electric shocks (like a cattle prod) in the calf of that leg. It was like an implant short circuting or something and would knock my leg out from under me for a second and was so strong that I would let out an invoulentary groan each time (for I was being electricuted with a massive shock).
That stopped after a few months but now years latter I have a larger lump in that area of my leg. I am thinking it may be an implant that calcium has grown around (just a guess) and wanted to know if Dr. Leir would like to talk to me or perhaps look at it etc… I can find no email or phone contact for him thus this posting.

Very interesting. I don’t think that Dr. Leir is feeling up to seeing anyone, due to his illness, but I would be happy to scan you with a UV light and studfinder. In the meantime, please get the area X-rayed to confirm the presence of an implant. I will tell him about your post.

Hey, I’ve posted on here before with things that have happened but I wanted to see if anyone knows anything about what is going on. It started about 8 months ago but I can now see colored static on everything. It’s doesn’t affect my vision except for in the dark where its very prominent but it’s like I don’t see color in it’s true form. The static (the best way to describe it) is embedded in everything. I have had a neurological test done and my eyes have been checked out and nothing is wrong. I can also see very small swirling orbs when I look at the sky there is tons of them. Just wondering if anyone has any information as to what it could be or if it applies to anything.

I am not sure what to make of your symptoms, but I will ask Dr. Leir. You might try taking some flash photos inside your house, and see if any orbs show up on them.

What do some the implants look like from the skin surface?I have a triangular mark near my wrist and have always been suspicious of it. I also suffer insomnia between the likely hours and have had nightmares since I was little. How do I know for sure?

There is usually no way to tell if an implant is present, simply by looking at the skin surface above it. If the object has just been inserted, you might see one, or two, small puncture wounds, but these disappear very quickly, and much faster than wounds normally heal. All traces of the implant insertion are usually gone within 24 hrs.

If you have a UV light, you may also see fluorescent dye marks at the insertion site, but these are invisible in normal room light.
I would recommend that you scan the suspected site with a commercial studfinder; these will often beep if there is an implant present under the skin. I would also recommend that you have the area X-rayed, as these objects often show up on medical X-rays. If you want to find out for sure if you are an abductee, you might also try getting hypnotically regressed. I will refer you to our Hypnotherapist, Yvonne Smith, if you are interested in this. -
I’m crying as I write this, knowing all this people who can understand what I’ve been through are so close; I live in Ventura county. My encounter occurred when I was nine years old while living in Bakersfield. I remember clearly red, green, yellow, blue and an occasional blue lite flashing, pulsating around saucer shaped craft not more than 20 feet directly above me as I was sitting on the t bar of an abandoned clothes line waiting for my friend to finish dinner and come out…The craft veered to my right and in a blink of an eye disappered..came back directly over me again, this time a Bright Light coming from the bottom center of craft beamed on me.

I was sitting in opposite direction on t bar of clothesline pole from when I first noticed the fine tuned electical sounding noise that make me look up…When girlfriend came out and saw me looking up at the dark sky she asked what I was looking at, I told her and she said nothing, but lets go play in the garage…never told anyone else about encounter. Years later as I saw tv shows and read internet comments on ufo’s, I began to discuss my encounter. Sister then told me she and my friend Gloria had heard what sounded like an engine of some vehicle about to crash, they looked towards liquor store and above it witnessed a ufo same as I described…I have had cataracts so severe two opthamoligists have commented that I could have stared at the sun and not had them so bad..also my regular doctor checked head x-rays and looked surprised to see a sort of rupture or something that made him ask if I ever had a stroke.
I do not know if what I have to say next as anything to do with ufo’s or aliens but recently I purchased a new camera while in Santa Rosa on a visit and took pics, one nite as my son and I were watching tv I felt like we were being watched. He went to bed, all the lites were off; it is an area with no lites, house or otherwise, way back in the hills. I wanted to take pics of nite and opened a slider to big picture window, snapped a pic and was instantly near blinded by a bright white light from camera screen and beyond which I viewed with my own eyes..startled, I shut the window and then a second later opened it and took two more pics. The orbs were gone the huge white one also gone…I have had strange events occur in my life that I believe happen because I’m a sensitive, something I called myself before reading about what others have said about people like me…Please help me.
Sometimes it is frightening knowing there are beings here and watching TV shows. Reading a blog at mufon frightened me even more…yet I do not believe the alien I saw that nite peering at me from the craft prior to it leaving the last time was in anyway harmful. He was in a rush, his arms moving quickly as if I was not supposed to have seen him..Sorry for being overly long but I’ve held so much in for so long, to be able to share with someone who is knowledgable makes me feel not so alone. -
Sounds like you have had some very interesting alien experiences, and are starting to come to grips with them; Southern California is one of the World’s most active UFO hotspots.

What year did the encounter in Bakersfield occur in? It sounds like you, and possibly your friend as well, were abducted during that encounter, but do not remember.
The cataracts are most likely from exposure to the radiation that alien craft give off, including, but not limited to, X-rays, ultraviolet light (UV), and microwaves. Abductees are exposed to large amounts of radiation on these experiences, and it is likely that this is what is mainly responsible for the odd health problems that many abductees experience. Most abductees are also psychics, or sensitives, as this appears to be one of the characteristics that the aliens look for in their “Chosen”.
Yes, all of this can be quite frightening, especially when you are first admitting to yourself that it is really happening to you. You are correct in that most “frequent flyer” abductees are monitored 24/7 by the aliens.

I’ve awoken after a full day of rest and relaxing (and a long, deep sleep) to a sore ankle. After further inspection, there is a small red circle directly underneath the ankle bone. I would like to know whether this is a government or alien implant. I have an extremely strong desire to help spread universal peace and have only been spiritually awake for over one week. I don’t know any emotions such as fear, pain or hatred, I only possess at this point of my life a curiosity to find and spread truth. Anyone in fear of what’s happening now, please realize your human body is just a temporary illusion. You’re not “stuck” inside of it forever, and you won’t be if you truly wish to find the truth.

We have never seen an implant in the ankle before, but there is always a first time. I would recommend that you get the area X-rayed, and see if anything shows up. In general, govt implants are a lot larger than the alien varieties. You might also want to test the area with a studfinder, to see if there is a metallic object under the skin.

Well, I don’t think your life will crumble, if you tell us what happened. Govt, and people in general, are a little more accepting of talking about this phenomenon, lately. That being said, it is still inadvisable to tell people who see aliens as bad, or who do not know much about this subject.

I was the victim of an abduction in 1977. I also believe that I have an alien implant in my index finger. My wife and I sat down to try to cut it out. It looked like maybe a piece of metal or something was in my finger. We cut open my finger open with a scalpel and clamped it with a pair of forceps, but once we tried to pull it out shooting pain wemt up my left arm and it felt like it was hooked into my heart and I thought I was having a heart attack. Can you help me? I want it out. I have had many encounters and would like to share these stories with the right person.

We would certainly love to hear about your abduction experiences. You and your wife were brave to try to cut it out, but you really should seek professional medical assistance in these situations. The reason for the shooting pain is that these devices are well-connected to the nervous system.

Dr. Leir has seen patients experience pain when the objects are pulled on even through strong local anesthetic. Anesthesia is definitely required for these implant removals. I will inform Dr. Leir of your condition, and of your desire to have the object removed. In the meantime, please have your finger X-rayed to confirm that the object is still there, and let us know the results. How long ago did you try to cut it out? -
Steve, I had a very bizarre “dream” last night, it was very lucid, and very real to me.
I told my wife about it, and she was very concerned.I’ve still after all these months been waking up with very strange cuts and bruises after all these months.
For some reason, my inside right ankle seems to be a target.
The dream was nothing more than me suddenly awakening, looking up in front of me, and seeing an alien face hovering right above my face, looking straight into my eyes.
I’m not sure how long it went on for, but it seemed like forever. I had no sense of time.
It looked like the classic “Grey” alien, but not like I’ve seen on TV, this thing looked like it was made out of plastic, or silicone rubber or something, yet, I could “feel” that it was alive, and connected with me somehow.
The skin did not look grey, but more bluish, like a dolphins skin, and there were no sweat glands or pores or hairs on the skin,it just looked fake to me.
It just hovered over me, looking into my eyes, like it was trying to communicate, but couldn’t.
I kept thinking to myself, why have I had all these “downloads” of information with no sign of who it came from and then suddenly I can see an alien, but he’s not communicating anything to me!
It was very weird, if I tried to look other than into it’s eyes, (I tried to look down at it’s body) I felt pain down my spine, but if i looked directly into it’s eyes, it felt almost euphoric, like I was being rewarded for doing so.
One of the very real things about this dream was the totally nauseating feeling of having to endure it’s breath. It smelled like a really acrid fishy smell, but also like strong almonds, it was so gross, that when I finally awoke, I actually vomited by my bed. Very embarrassing.
Tonight, after last night’s dream, we (my wife and I) were sitting in our bedroom (as per usual)on the bed, with our 17 month old daughter watching videos on my PC and eating supper, when all of a sudden my wife and I both saw this weird shadow go across our dresser in a way that was not really possible. It seemed to come from the kitchen which is the next room, but there was nothing there.
I was once a photographer, so I know the difference between incident and reflective light sources, and this did not make any sense.
Then, I saw out of the corner of my eye a white form outside the bedroom doorway in the next room (the kitchen) , and several minutes after that, seen another black shadow along the wall in our bedroom.
This was all very weird, and all within 10 minutes of one another.
If my wife didn’t also see it,. I would have written it off to malfunctioning eyesight.
After a few hours, I picked up my 17 month old daughter, and carried her from our bedroom to her room to be put into her crib to bed for the night, and then returned to our room to go to bed.
I for some reason felt compelled to look at the DVR footage of me doing so, and was shocked to see a small short counter height shadow at around the same place I saw something earlier on a few frames of the video.
What the hell is going on?
I finally have some video evidence of this weirdness, be its only a few frames, but still, it shows “something”.
What’s with all the weird shadows in our house??

Hello and thank you for your work and for this website! I find it to be very encouraging. One question I have is has anyone ever reported an implant coming out of their skin on its own? I recall about 9 years ago having an itchy spot on my calve. I scratched it for a couple of days here and there to the point where it bled. I let it heal and scab over, then scratched some more and the scab came off revealing a hard, flat, black object. It looked like a tiny somewhat oblong hockey puck with a dent in it. I was so unnerved by it that I threw it away. I regret doing so in retrospect.

For a number of years- from about age 10 or 11 until my early 20′s, I had a nagging paranoid fear of UFO’s and ET’s. It was kicked off by a television program that I watched on the whole phenomenon that really cut me to the core at that young age. However, I had never really paid much attention to a nightmare I had as an even younger child in which I stood alone at the bus stop waiting to go to school when suddenly a space ship appeared out of nowhere hovering above me. It shined down the famous “beam” on me and I tried to yell “Mom! Mom!” but I could only whisper. As I started to wake up, I heard my mother’s voice say “Ok ok, I’m here, what’s the matter?” As I opened my eyes and began to explain with “Mom I…” I saw that I was in fact alone, and she was not there.
Since then, I have had a few other nightmares that I can recall in which I encountered what my mind remembers as strange animals etc. I never really made anything of it. For about 10 years, I did what I could to shove the topic of extraterrestrials out of my conscious thinking, because the topic was so terrifying to me. At around the time I scratched the object out of my skin, I decided to face my fear by researching, and started running into work by Guy Malone and Joe Jordan. I don’t come to any conclusions based on their work, but it was helpful in relieving much of the fear that was always hanging in the back of my mind.
For about 8 years or so, I never thought about the black object in my leg until I saw some videos of Dr. Leir’s work.
I should also mention that around the time of discovering that object, serious health problems came into my life that I still deal with. I wonder if there are more objects in my body. Any feedback at all would be appreciated. -
Your “dream” was almost certainly a real experience; they just seem like, and remember like, dreams because of the type of memory manipulation (i.e. mind control) that they use on you when you are with them.

Waking up with strange cuts and bruises of unknown origin is very common with alien abductees. I don’t know for sure why they are targeting your ankle, but my guess is that they are extracting some bodily fluids at that location.
Your description of the Grey alien is pretty typical; they do look fake, and they are most commonly reported as having bluish-grey skin, although there are many species and types of Grey-type aliens. The smell you reported is also not uncommon, although most people who report an odor from the Greys say it smells more like a snake, or lizard, if you are familiar with that type of odor. Their skin is damp, and they absorb most of their nutrients through the skin; this is the most likely reason for the odor.
The procedure he was doing on you is most commonly referred to as “mindscan”; they are able to pull information out of the human brain, and implant memories and suggestions, at the same time, through the procedure you described, involving staring into the eyes of the subject. This appears to be a natural ability that all Grey species possess. This telepathic mind-control ability makes them quite formidable, even without their advanced technology.
I’m not sure what to make of the shadows you saw, but it is possible that they were either “cloaked” aliens (they have invisibility technology), or aliens visiting you in astral (projected) form, which they are also said to be able to do. Sounds like your experiences have entered a new phase. Good to hear from you again; has your health been any better, lately? -

Yes, We have heard of implants coming out of the body on their own, although it is somewhat rare. I’m not surprised that you threw it away, as the aliens are often reported to give abductees strong telepathic suggestions to destroy any alien-related physical evidence that they leave behind; yours is not the first report I’ve heard of people doing just that.
I am also not surprised that you had a phobia about UFOs and ETs; it is normal for abductees to have either a phobia about the subject, such as the one you describe, or to be fascinated, or obsessed, by it, and drawn to read all they can about UFOs and aliens. It is quite possible that your “nightmare” of the UFO over you at the bus stop was a real experience, which was edited out of your conscious memory by alien telepathic mind control. I’m glad thatyou have tried to work through your fear of the subject; I think that is beneficial.
Unfortunately, health problems, including serious ones, often come along with being an alien abductee/contactee. Our working hypothesis is that these health problems are mostly related to the radiation exposure which occurs during these experiences. It is also very common for abductees who are taken frequently by the aliens to have several implants in their bodies. What symptoms and types of health problems have you been experiencing? -

Please help :[ I’ve been toying with the idea that I may have abducted for several years (marks on my body/infections/bruises/ailments/time displacement/etc) but was almost in denial.
The other night I couldn’t sleep. Finally drifted off for what seemed like an hour and slept for 16 hours and woke up WITH A HUGE STINGING SCRATCH ALL THE WAY ACROSS MY BACK AND TO THE SIDE TO MAKE A TRIANGLE.
Was slightly nervous but forgot about it…
Pelvic region has been sore since now…
And JUST NOW I was holding a glass in my hand not touching ANYTHING ELECTRIC and I got A HUGE ELECTRICAL SHOCK THAT IS STILL STINGING.

OH and on top of everything, the next day I couldn’t find my cellphone.
I checked everywhere and couldn’t find it.
I had recently rebooted the software on my cellphone because it was acting funky (turning on/off randomly, opening apps/music randomly). I thought it was a virus and thought going back to the master system would take care of it.
That night (the day after the actual abduction) I found it just sitting in the middle of the parking lot of my building without so much as a scratch.
With all of their technology I would think that a cellphone tracking device wouldn’t be needed…do you think they use our cellphones as well?

I found two small circle wounds on my right side. Now the area is red and irritated. The wounds were only about 1/16 in diameter but were perfect circles about 1/4 inch apart. I am the founder of the International Citizens Union. Please contact with advice.

How can I contact Dr. Leir? I have had not only sightings throughout my life but also several abductions. I am 59 and have never spoke to anyone about this because I have worked in very high profile positions. I am not working now due to unexplained health issues. My entire immune system is not normal, BP normal for me is 90/60, Temp 95 degrees F. I began getting lesions on my back and when one would heal another would start. When they heal they leave shiny oval spots that have no pigmentation. Doctors said Lupus but ANA tests say I don’t have it. Last year I had an MRI done on the brain and it showed multiple lesions. The Neurologist could not decide whether it was Lupus related or MS, and decided I have MS as well as Rhumatoid Arthritis but the Neurologist did not know how to treat it and referred me to a Chief Neurologist who wants to do more extensive MRI’s and Nerve Condustion studies. All the Doctors do not seem to know what to do with me and act strange when they look at my tests and blood work. They have referred to me as a medical anomoly.
Is it possible this is not lesions but brain implants? Despite everything, I seem to be functioning alright.

I have a photo showing some of the white spots on my back and also one showing a new lesion that appeared at the base of my skull when I woke up 3 days ago. It is in the shape of a triangle, dark reddish purple in color and feels like a burning heat going in through the skin in that area. If I go to the Doctor with it, they will just want to biopsy it again, and they can never come up with answers.

Your medical condition sounds very interesting; low body temperature is a characteristic of people who are lifelong alien abductees. Besides the lesions, what are your symptoms?
Yes, I think it is possible that your brain lesions are implants; in theory, they should show up on MRI. Do they show up on an X-ray, as well? I can also scan you for evidence of recent alien contact, if you can make out this way. -
The MRI lit up like a Christmas Tree showing numerous hot spots which they say are probably lesions. The Neurologist referred me to a Chief Neurologist because he felt he was not qualified to make an opinion, he never seen anything like it before. I sent you a private email yesterday and attached photographs. Bone scans on the spine show something abnormal which they thing could be bony growths but I am suppose to get a full body MRI done in March because this Chief Neurologist thinks there is something very abnormal in my spine.
If I was near California, I would try and see you, but I am way up in Eastern Canada.

In 1976 they removed what they thought was a growth from my left sinus cavity, it was a hard mucus type lump. Two years ago they found another in the same place and I told them to leave it. The last time they removed the lump I felt worse than I was when it was in there.

I do not know if those are symptoms or not, but I do not have a lot of normal components in my blood, most specifically IGA, IGG1, IGG2, I do not build up an immunity to anything, have no resistance to bacteria or anything, cannot take flu shots and basically Immunologists do not understand how I am alive. One well known Specialist took biopsies and blood sampes for some reasearch he was doing and very suddenly left North America and did not turn in his research papers. I heal without leaving scar tissue, even from operations and broken bones heal without needing therapy and I recover full use with no signs of nerve damage or anything. I broke my right arm totally in half last year, as well as my hand and was told that when it healed the hand and arm would be fused together and I would never have full use of it. It is normal, not fused and I can move the wrist perfectly and have no pain.

You might find this interesting, anytime I go through security at an airport, I always set off the alarms and have to be taken into another room and checked for weapons or anything metal. The detectors go off from my waist up to my head and they always ask if I have anything metal, likes plates or anything in my head, arms, etc. If I go to stores with security syatems, I wear jeans and a sweater and take my money in a pocket and leave the purse in the car because I set off the alarms and am always asked to dump out my purse and empty my pockets. It used to be embarrassing. If I drive or walk down a street, the pole lights go out. I drain batteries. A cordless phone may hold a minute of talk time before it goes dead so I have old fashioned phones in the house. My Daughter has the same problems. The list goes on.

Could be; sounds like you have a lot of the usual indicators of alien abduction. Unexplained scratches, bruises, red shapes on the skin (usually triangles), and injection marks, are common among abductees. The pelvic region, in men, often gets sore from sperm extraction. It is not too common, but I have also heard of abductees getting strange electrical shocks, as you describe.

Did these strange occurrences start a few years ago, or have they been going on since childhood? The abduction phenomenon is something that follows certain human lineages; is anyone in your family also involved?
The aliens appear to be looking for families with high intelligence and physical strength, as well as above average psychic abilities. If you have any of these characteristics, then that is the answer as to “Why?”. What health problems are you experiencing? -
It is also common for abductees to find objects missing, that they are SURE they could not have misplaced, and to have them mysteriously turn up a few days, or weeks, later. I do not think that the aliens use cellphones to track abductees, as they have specific implants that do that; they may have been finding out who you have been calling.

My reason for asking is this when I was in the 5th grade several people on my rural area road had a sighting of a cigar shaped multi colored craft. It passed over us at just over powerline level. It was visible for just over 15min. Soon after, I started haveing re-occurring dreams of somehow being able to fly. These went on for years after the sighting.
To this day, I can walk near a radio and cause static interference, sometimes even to the point of completely blocking out a signal. Please share any comments on this as I am very curious about this angle of the implants or if it has ever even been tried to see if they do. Mike -

I emailed you about my implant with pictures and did not get a reply. I have had an X-ray done. The skin surface is presenting the shape of the hard object beneath which is about a centimeter in a triangular shape. I believe there is also a hook there. It’s causing me great distress due to not sleeping by constantly irritating the nerves and inflaming the tissue. I’m awaiting consultation with my GP in April on the outcome on the X-rays, but what if it does not show in this X-ray, as I have heard that the objects can disappear in some and appear in other X-rays of the same patient? The object presented itself after I had an operation to remove the skin area out of desperation. At that point I had no idea it could be an implant. I had a navelectomy. Then the localized sub-dermal itching sensation returned and appeared to be beneath two rice-sized scars that were beneath the incision scars from the operation itself. I had surgery to remove the irritating bumps and a triangular scar appeared afterwards where the sub-dermal itching returned and was located. I assume the second operation only removed the scarring but not the implant itself. The implant is now clearly visible in terms of size and shape. The area is raised and clearly differentiated from the healed scar of the 2nd operation. My belief is that I had an implant inserted into my navel that caused the itching. When I had this removed the implant expressed itself visibly on the surface and is now clearly visible. This is not a scar from the operations as the first presentation of the implant was beneath the operation scar and the second triangular scar (with hard object beneath) is clearly differentiated from the linear scar from the second operation. Also the itching was the reason I had the first operation in the beginning and thus preceded any scarring, so it is not the scarring producing the itching. The itching is only from the protruding bumps not the other scarring. I live in the UK and ask if you know anyone with any knowledge of experience in removing implants in the UK. If you are interested in my case I can submit more recent photos that show the triangular shape of the scar or protrusion of the implant beneath. Here is a link to video. Yes, we do have reason to believe that the implants can interfere with radio reception; abductees frequently interfere with radio reception, cause fluorescent lights to turn on or off, and cause problems of all sorts with electronic equipment.
Since we know that most abductees have implants, and that the implants emit radio signals, it is logical to assume that the implants may be causing at least some of these effects.
It sounds like you are an abductee, based on your report of a close-up UFO sighting, having dreams of being able to fly (these are very common among abductees), and causing radio interference. If you are ever in the SoCal area, I would like to scan you for implants and recent alien contact. -

I believe I did reply to you a couple of times. Glad you had the X-ray done. A 1 cm implant would definitely be the biggest one we have seen; what do you mean by there being a hook there?
Very sorry to hear that the object is causing you distress; it must be very frustrating. I have heard of the nerves being stimulated by these objects, and causing pain, but we have never seen any tissue irritation associated with these implants; generally, it is just the opposite, and they cause an anomalous LACK of inflammation and immune response.
Please let me know if the object shows up. There is no guarantee that it will, as the aliens have some method of rendering the devices either X-ray transparent, or strongly X-ray scattering; in any event, they sometimes do not show up on X-ray film. I know this to be true, as I have seen one of these objects disappear from a fluoroscope screen, during one of Dr. Leir’s implant removal operations.
This sounds like one of the type of implants that is able to move under the skin; that does cause pain and irritation, and would account for it not being removed by the operation. Perhaps it moved to an area outside the area of removed skin, during, or just before, the operation.
Actually, I was just contacted at the UFO Congress, in February, by an organization that studies implants in the UK. I will send you their contact information, but I do not know if they do removals. You may be able to have them contract with a local surgeon to do that.
